■ With Yoon Suk-yeol drunk on prosecutorial fascism, one has to ask: are the People Power Party’s eyes glued to their feet, or are they too cowardly to open them?

The prosecution has laid bare the undeniable ugly truth about Yoon Suk-yeol, the treasonous ringleader and former Prosecutor General. Let us confront his words directly, spoken on the night of December 3, when unlawful and unconstitutional emergency martial law was declared:

1. To Police Commissioner Cho Ji-ho, Yoon commanded:

“Arrest every single lawmaker trying to enter the National Assembly. Take them into custody. What they're doing is illegal. All of them are in violation of the proclamation. Arrest them all.”

2. To Commander Lee Jin-woo of the Capital Defense Command, Yoon demanded:

“You still haven’t entered? Order your soldiers to go to the Plenary Chamber, to form teams of four and drag out one person each. Break down the door if you have to. Haul them out, even if it takes a gun to do it.”

3. To General Kwak Jong-keun of the Army Special Warfare Command, Yoon declared:

“It seems there aren’t enough members inside to meet the quorum. Get inside quickly and bring them all out of the Assembly. Even if it takes an axe to smash the door down, get inside and drag everyone out.”

4. And, even after the motion to lift martial law was passed, Yoon shamelessly told Commander Lee Jin-woo:

“Even if it’s lifted, I can declare martial law again a second or third time if I want to. Proceed as planned.”

Now, People Power Party, are you paying attention? The prosecution has laid this out in painstaking detail in their press release following the detention and indictment of former Minister of Defense Kim Yong-hyun. This is the raw, unfiltered face of the “monster Yoon Suk-yeol” that you are so desperate to defend. Read every word. Read them twice, three times if necessary. And if you still cannot grasp the reality of his actions, the problem is not with the evidence.

Violations. Illegality. Arrests. Guns and axes. Orders to commit murder. Promises of repeated martial law declaration. This is not leadership. No, this is dictatorship. Not a lapse in judgment. Treason. Pure and simple. And frankly, it is the ultimate “impeachment package.”

The audacity of Yoon Suk-yeol is truly something to behold. A man so drunk on power that he believes he can clutch an entire nation in his fist and twist it to his will. What a tragic spectacle of delusion. And make no mistake. This was no spur-of-the-moment tantrum. No, this was coldly and carefully calculated. As early as March, Yoon and his accomplices were plotting this treasonous conspiracy. He is not just a criminal. He is a premeditated offender, whose actions are as vile as they are unforgivable.

And yet, to this very hour, Yoon is still evading investigation and trial. His accomplice, Acting Traitor Han Duck-soo, continues to block the appointment of constitutional court judges. And what of the People Power Party? Instead of facing the truth, you cling to your pitiful strategy of delay and survival. “Save ourselves first. Stall at all costs.” Do you even care about the people of Korea? Or is this nation nothing more than a pawn in your pathetic game of self-preservation?

Here is what must happen, and it must happen now. Yoon Suk-yeol, the treasonous ringleader, must be arrested immediately. The constitutional court judges must be appointed without delay. And a special counsel must begin its work to uncover the full extent of this treason.

To the People Power Party, I say this. Think carefully. The whole world is watching. Your actions, or lack of thereof, will be remembered. Do not choose personal gain over the national interest. Do not choose partisan loyalty over constitutional order. History will not be kind to cowards.​ 

The Democratic Party will not rest until this treasonous crisis is resolved. We will not waver. We will not falter. The stability and dignity of our nation will be restored.
